PDX Airport Illustrations
Portland Airport commissioned me to create illustrations for their reconstruction project, incorporating environmentally friendly design spaces. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I designed a series of characters to adorn the construction walls, bringing joy and comfort to travelers. I had the pleasure of illustrating multiple phases of the project, finding happiness in knowing my work could bring solace and relief during a challenging time.
In the later phase of the project, I focused on showcasing the airport's commitment to sustainability, highlighting the use of responsibly sourced wood from local forests and vendors. My illustrations aimed to evoke the feeling of walking through a forest and enjoying recreational activities, while also promoting Portland's popular attractions and experiences.
